You may not be aware of the new GDPR regulations that came into force in may 2018 stating that all personal records/information need to be accounted for and any of your personal details as i hold as your therapist in need to inform you how i store them and for how long for and if they are passed onto a third party...

i hold all of my treatment records at present on paper as i have not found a suitable secure system that works for me and my needs online, these are locked in a filing cabinet and i am the only person that has access to them.

I do not pass any of your details onto a third party, and will not contact you with any spam/newsletters or emails , as at present this is not something that i am currently looking to do ....in the future if this system changes i will let you know .

I will hold /keep your details from any treatments done  for 7 years after the last treatment provided and after this time i will contact you to clarify what you wish me to do with them either shred or delete  them .

You also have a right to contact me before this time wishing for any of your details to be deleted/shredded if you no longer wish me to hold them.

 A paper form of this policy will be dated and signed by yourself  at the first treatment date stating that you are happy and you agree to my policy .
